INTIMATE BACH

A delicious show full of tenderness and good taste, which took place yesterday in the Auditorium and which revolved around the "Bach Family". The soprano Susanna Crespo Held and the harpsichordist Eduard Martínez Borruel showed off their more acting side to make known some of the more unknown passages of the genius composer from Leipzig, without neglecting the musical quality and a high historical and interpretative rigor.

Scarlatti - Cantatas

Susanna Crespo Held, Musica Poëtica • 2000

Alessandro Scarlatti is regarded as one of Italy's leading Baroque composers. His solo cantatas quickly made him a favorite of Roman nobility; 799 survive today. Inspired by mythology and pastoral poetry, they combine recitatives and arias with basso continuo and solo instruments, revealing his expressive mastery.
